Public pay phones and the advance of cellular phones

In spite of the fact that the cell phones of all prices are available in the market these days ranging from cheap to expensive ones however there are still many poor people who cannot afford it. In case you are out of country for any purpose whatsoever, you can easily communicate with your loved ones by using this simple and affordable technology. Cell phones, on the other hand, are highly expensive when used outside your homeland.
However, one can also not deny the various different advantages of cell phones as it has become one of the basic necessities these days without any question. Therefore, we won’t be wrong in saying so that the extensive use of cell phones in the present day world has lessened the use of pay phones to some extent. For instance, if you are in an unknown city then you might find it hard to search for a pay phone whereas if you have your own cell phone you can save yourself from this entire hurdle.
As far as the history of these public phones is concerned, William Gray was the one who invented the first coin operated public pay phone back in 1889. And since then, a lot of similar phones have been developed and installed in all parts of the world.
